Children, teens and young adults up to the age of 20 are welcome Sundays 9.30-10.30am.

Classes are face-to-face, and teachers and students have access to a number of relevant online sites during their hour together.

How does Sunday School apply to me?

For students, it’s about discovering how spirituality is relevant in your life—how it fits into every day and shows up in everything you love to do. It’s an environment where you feel totally supported. You can ask the hardest questions with your peers and teacher as you’re figuring out how to apply spiritual truths to your own experiences. It’s a chance to look together for meaningful answers to the stuff that comes up in your lives. And it’s open to anyone under age 20.

For parents, it’s about giving your child a solid moral foundation—a spiritual framework that will help them ask questions about who they are, their value, and their purpose. It’s an environment where each student is welcomed with love, respected, and encouraged to discover their relationship to God.

Christian Science Sunday School is a grounding for life to know that God is “a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)

Nurturing your child’s understanding of God as Love

The younger classes learn how they’re filled up full with God’s goodness. That they can’t get outside of God’s, divine Love’s, arms. They learn the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer and the Beatitudes in a simple way that they can understand. They can use these lessons anywhere: at home, at school, or in the playground.

How can I apply Bible truths to the issues in my life?

The older classes take a deeper dive into the Bible and Science & Health with Key to the ScripturesStudents learn how to pray with, and apply, Bible truths to the issues and problems that they’re facing today, with good results.

Whether you’re dealing with bullying, addiction, exam stress, dating and relationships, depression, eating disorders, or family issues, you can find answers in these classes.

Who are the teachers?

Teachers are experienced Christian Scientists dedicated to helping young people learn the valuable lessons of the Bible through the teachings of Christian Science. They also each carry a Queensland Working with Children Blue Card.
